As the founding member, music director, song writer, and producer of the historic Oakland band Tony Toni Toné, his remarkable career has produced one Double Platinum & two Platinum albums. His music is forever woven into the soundtrack of a generation. Even more significant are his continued efforts to raise awareness for Oakland’s greatness as an incubator for music talents. D’Wayne has created a remarkable legacy of success and he has a story to tell. D’Wayne Wiggins shares his experience creating hit records for the Tony's, his early mentoring and signing of the best-selling female group of all time-Destiny’s Child, and the signing of Double-Platinum “newcomer” Keyshia Cole to his Grassroots Entertainment label. As well as his experiences working with greats like Carlos Santana, Alicia Keys, India Arie, Too Short and Jamie Foxx. Always a true Oakland Original, Mr. Wiggins continues to create and share valuable insights with young artists, entrepreneurs, and those who claim to be lovers of Oakland.

D’Wayne Wiggins; Tony Toni Tone Has proven himself a durable guardian of the San Francisco, Bay Area soul and funk tradition, while also infusing his music with enough contemporary devices to remain popular. As the R&B New Jack founding member and creator of many of the Tony, Toni, Tone hit records, D’Wayne Wiggins has experienced firsthand what it takes to be a Distinguished Recording Artist, Composer, Songwriter, Music Director and Reality Show Producer.
An accomplished guitarist, D’Wayne enjoys a flourishing career as a sought after musician and producer. His songwriting and producing credits include material for his group Tony Toni Tone, Jody Watley, Tevin Campbell, Karyn White, Too Short, E-40, Destiny’s Child, India Arie, Beyonce’, Alicia Keys and the Development of R&B sensation Keyshia Cole. 2009 includes musical scoring of the upcoming Made for Television Series “Every Day Black Man” and Reality show producer of The PopLyfe Project.
Furthermore Mr. Wiggins has lent his professional Entertainment services to community and political events throughout the San Francisco, Bay area as Music Director and is the recipient of several community service awards. Mr. Wiggins is the unofficial Ambassador of Music to the City of Oakland.

Emmy Award winning artist James Gayles attended Pratt Institute in New York, where he studied under renowned painters Jacob Lawrence and Audrey Flack He simultaneously pursued careers in both fine and commercial art. As a commercial artist he established himself in New York as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator, becoming Assistant Director of Graphics at NewsCenter 4, NBC-TV. At NBC he won a television Emmy Award for design and illustration.
Also in New York he was also a two-time winner of Art Direction Magazine’s Creativity Award, one for the NewsCenter 4 logo redesign, and the other for an editorial illustration for the New York Times. Here in the Bay Area he won the first place award for illustration at the California Newspaper Publishers’ Awards.
In addition to NBC and the New York Times, James has illustrated for McGraw-Hill, Random House, Essence Magazine, Black Enterprise Magazine, as well as several advertising agencies on both the East and West coasts.
James’ artwork has been represented by galleries throughout the US. He has won a public art commission from the City of Oakland Craft and Cultural Arts Department, in which he transferred his figurative painting technique to ceramic tile murals. In 2003 he was honored at the Art of Living Black by receiving the Jan Hart-Shuyers Award.
He has been selected twice to show at the California Biennial Watercolor exhibit at the Triton Museum in Santa Clara. The City of Richmond purchased one of his paintings for their Civic Center Public Art Project. He has received the City of Oakland’s Individual Artist Grant in 2005, 2007 and 2010, and received two commissions from the Alameda County Art Commission to do a series of paintings for the Juvenile Justice Center in San Leandro and for the Ashland Youth Center.

Attracted to different rhythms and how they make the mind, body, and soul feel, heyLove* is naturally drawn to artists from the past and present like Stevie Wonder, Fela Kuti, Erykah Badu, Pharrell Williams, J Dilla, Kanye West, AtJazz, Omar, & the Weeknd.
You'll hear jazz, R&B, downtempo, broken beat, house, bossa nova, afro beat & hip-hop in her collection. "There should be no genre lines in music", heyLove* explains her mixes reflect a "music head" who appreciates the finer melodies in life.

HILLARY JACOBS
Hilscooking is not like any ordinary catering Chef/owner Hilary Jacobs likes to feed that guilty pleasure that hides inside us and twist it with her own personal touch. Hilary Jacobs graduated from Tante Marie in San Francisco in 2006, walking away with a larger understanding of food and a greater desire to cook. In her journey through the culinary world she prides herself to be an innovator of remixing and remaking what is familiar, while adding something unique in taste. “Food is like colors, it all goes together you just have to season it properly.” is what you’ll find in her menu’s and love in every bite.
Pastry Chef:David Benton
Self-taught in the art of cake making and decorating, Pastry Chef David Benton toiled for years as an office admin in the San Francisco Bay Area to make ends meet. Always cooking, he stumbled upon baking in a culinary class and never forgot the impact it made on him. Laid off in the 2009 recession David used the time off to concentrate full-time on learning all he could about baking.
Sugarsweet Pastries was born. With only youtube tutorials and baking books to guide him, David spent the next 2 years teaching himself the art of cake making and designing. By 2011 his unique and artistically designed cakes were getting noticed and the media was calling for interviews.
His love of cookies led him to a name change in 2012. Sugarsweet Pastries became Sugarsweet Cookie + Cake Studio. In the same year he began exclusively using organic ingredients in all his unique baked goods. Pastry Chef David’s design aesthetic is colorful, funky and unconventional with modern and dramatic touches. His influences aren’t other pastry chefs but past & present leaders in fashion, pop culture, music and film.
Pastry Chef David has been featured in magazines like Cuisine Noir, Basil, Modern Flavor and Munaluchi Bride. His work has been featured in blogs like 100 Layer Cake and he has been interviewed on numerous online radio programs. He’s made fresh berry tarts for actor Danny Glover, baked Congresswoman Barbara Lee’s birthday cake and made campaign cakes for ex-KPIX newscaster Dana King. He’s worked in the kitchen with Top Chef Just Dessert’s contestant Erika Davis and celebrity chef G. Garvin.
